How common is it that other people create models for others?

I'm not sure how usual is it to ask such a thing here but if I have an idea for a model I need and I have no clue in modeling, can someone create it for me from my description?

PS: I don't need it right now, I just want to know how common it is in here

You can always ask for anything your heart desires of course, it's just whether anyone feels like helping you out!

Sometimes arty folk are happy to help out other forum users by doing some simple modeling or artwork for them but often it can take a lot of time and have very little benefit for them so it's a bit much to ask them.

For free ...unlikely. It happens, but not ofthen. If you work on some project, the best would be to find people willing to participate and make small team ...one coder, one artist at last.

So you mean I'm gonna need a lot of luck to get something that good for free.. Well, I think I'll go for the 1(me) coder and 1 artist team right now. Just hoping one of my friends could care that much bout graphics. Thanks guys.
