How do I make md2 files?

Post by pippy »

I had a look around, and Q2modeler seems like the best option, but I cannot locate this program :/

Is there a plugin for 3dmax or another 3rd party software I can find?

QTip fails hard, doesn't export properly and is limited to 20 frames.

It took me a week of screaming at my computer to find a way to make good looking md2 files. I have finally found a script on the corner of the web to allow me export good looking md2 files.

As you probably know, md2 files have the advantage over X files as they are smaller.

I'm thinking about making a tut on how to do this. It was frustrating getting my models to work right, and other people seem to have the same prob.
