Hey guys,
So I've produced my first mangled travesty of a videogame. Originally an experiment for a "fair" resource allocation minigame, it turned out to be sorta fun on its own.
2DRPS is a quick, persistent round guessing game. Each round begins with each player allocating some or all of the playing field as "his," without being able to see where other players are choosing. Afterward, to resolve conflicts the winner of each point on the map is the player who's laid claim to the smallest area overall, and the winner of the entire round is the player with the most area after this step. To win, it helps to claim areas that your opponent hasn't, or to claim just slightly less than he has and so win any conflicts.

Controls:
Left click/drag: Designate an area as "yours."
Middle click and hold: Rotate the playing field.
Middle wheel scroll: Zooms in/out. The farther out you zoom, the bigger the area that left-clicks designate.
T: Chat.
As I mentioned it is an internet game, but since I'm in the middle of a move I don't have any sort of server established. You can change the entry in ip.xml in the 2DRPS folder to whatever the server's IP address is for a LAN game, or leave it on localhost and run a server and two clients on the same computer.
I'd encourage ya'll to try it out. If you've got any comments/criticisms, etc, I'd love to hear them.

It's a great concept, thanks for sharing it with us.
One of the clients got out of sync after just one round when I tried it. Also, a countdown timer would be super.
