I perfectly agree that just keeping the base concept being a simple 'chat' can not keep people having fun in the long term. I wish to implement something that would bring some competition between the kindoms and inside them.
I have lots of ideas on this purpose, but I will consider all that when I finish the graphics : 'I think it's just overly ambitious projects and people', I agree.
It's just for fun so no pressure. :P

Midnight, I reckon you just dont like the style. But I will try to lower the speculars and see what it gives.

Bye all !

I like the current style though.
And imo if you add some bumps, it will really look bad.

adding bumps in a careful well done way would be a pain with so much content... ;)

I admire ppl working so much just for fun :)

It's wow style, I am not fan of that style either, but in its style, is quite well achieved. You could do a game with what you have already, an indy one, that is :) (these days any retail game needs such a crazy amount of artwork...is what I like of indy wordl... not so much needed)

I think you can make it look more icy feel. Nice though.

WoW, that is so Night-Elf-ish :P Looks more like a mystical forest then an ice area, maybe make stuff more white and increase the snow? (I think if the top of those pillars looked frozen with ice or covered in snow that would look nice.)

Either way this is amazing work, keep it up :D

The ice scene needs more white snow on the ground.

I like how your scenes often have this atmospheric hue, gives off a nice saturated feel.

The scene is presented by night, perhaps that is what makes it look less 'icy'. But still, I agree it needs more snow anyway, gonna work on that !

PS : You could call it 'Nisht-elvish' but also 'High-elvish', and this last name does not belong to WoW at all. WoW is actually IMO a cartonned summary of decades of fantasy, especially Tolkien's LOTR and Jackson's adaptation. I don't want to look down at what they created, but just remind that they certainly not invented the style.
One decade ago, the popular WOtC's Magic collecting card game already largely represented fantasy worlds with colourful paintings. This is just an example.

See you all !

As far as I know it is not. But, anyway it was designed pretty quickly, I need more time to get convincing results on a texture/model.

I will try to introduce character designs soon.

I also thought those last days about improving the concept, trying to think out how to make interesting, and doable, things. So far I got plenty of ideas to trick the game  .
I will describe it soon enough, I need your opinion/advices/critics.

Bye !

The desert scenes remind me of Serious Sam, actually. Hmm... I feel a sudden urge to dust it off now.

Hey the graphics look really amazing.
I am really excited to see some animations of this.
The yellow green shots are my favourites !

Hope to see more soon !
