Hi,
I'm using maya 8.5 to and have a character riged and animated I have found this plugin cvxporter.

And it seems to work i have managed to export to .x file format but the 3d model is static, animation does not play in the mesh viewer. I have a feeling it's because the way I built and rigged my character. so what I'm asking is for advice on what i should consider when building a 3d model specific for .x export.

does it matter if you have a chracter rigged and animated with IK in maya for .x export?
