IS there an UPDATE on this yet?

I'm really interested in your project and was wondering how things were going.

getting there

Post by BiggerStaff »

Hey guys,

Yeah - sorry, I think a week was perhaps a little optimistic. It's going well, I've implemented selection and a camera/mouse system which I think works quite well. I need to rig together actually moving objects around and a simple file format, and then I'll have a basic framework which I can release to you all.

I'm quite busy with stuff at the moment, having been accepted onto the JET programme (http://www.jetprogramme.org/), so have been orgranising moving to Japan, but rest assured work on Outdoor is continuing. I've also organised some web hosting, so I'll be able to put up a proper project site.

As for a time, I'll certainly have a project page and email thing set up this week, and hopefully will manage to get the basic version out as well. I'm afraid I'm a bit of a ready-when-it's-ready person deep down...

Cheers for your continued interest - Hopefully something sometime this week.
