I kept the video card, an "old" 5200 FX (AGP).
Well, now the fun part started. I installed windows and, first thing it greted me with a crash! (Yes one of them cryptic "00x0acd8557" like crashes). Rebooted. Bad sign. Next, .NET framework won't install.
OH JOY!After much consideration (and kicks
) it did. Next up was the JDK. It took me a whole day to get it on without issues. Xilinx 9.2i ISE and Multisim 9 were next (college stuff). Guess what, they both fucked.
When I complie something about 1/50 times, the compiler crashes in some way (either mingw or msvc). The funniest part was when I found out today, It wont do pixel shading anymore. AT ALL.
It just keeps getting better...
I think I'll just go back to the trusty Duron 1300 for a while, eh?
