Now, I`m developing a new 3D view/analyze module to show ECPF(.bdl) data.
Before used Irrlicht , I had developed another 3d view module by pure opengl in vc6 , it worked fine . But I faced a hard problem when the .bdl had a mass of polygons than 0.2M countted, it worked very slowly and showed liked PPT. So I decide to rebuild it by Irrlicht .
ps: ECPF is a Building-Energy-Costing-Analyze software right by PKPM in China

Cool project, it's always great to see when Irrlicht is used in projects beside games. How's your experience with Irrlicht for that so far?
