Elf archer model WIP

Post by arras »

Last few days I took some time to finish texture of model I did long time ago. Texture is still not 100% done but most dificult work is finished. If you have some sugestions what might still be improved, post it here :)

You've got a good smoothness and natural shape there for such a low poly, nice work :)

Nice, but i would do something with her face. Looks masculine to me.

Look at those beauties for Morrowind :)

very good...

just the ear...make it smaller...more vertical...perhaps make it more near face....draw some anatomy lines inside the ears, or it can look like a horn...

the male-like face someone says....make the chin not so "strong" (so, rounder, thinner) Make also the jaw end upper. making that area smaller, less strong, that will make more woman like.

cloth texturing works seems well detailed from those shots.

definitely, the ear is out of place, orientation, size...imho ;)
Finally making games again!

bal>>I will ...thanks :)

warui>> that is wery nice work there ..altrough, they look bit inocent, I wanted to have someone who dont have to convince you that she can kill you with arrow shot whithout you notice direction shot came from ;)
Well, its mather of taste but some details will may be convince you ...may be not :)
I can try to make her eyes slightly bigger ...but I dont think I will make some drastic remodeling, I was just spending too much time with her already ...nex time may be I make elf diferent :)

vermeer>>well, ears efinetly needs to retexture. About theyr shape, I was trying to give them animal kind of look and they should be on right place, at last anatomicly. I used reference photos when modeling.
Here are some details of head, so tell your opinion now:

Thats nice modeled ear, but its orc ear not elf. Also its way too much detailed for what I need. I need to keep it low poly as much as its posible.
...but I tke your critique, may be I will give it look and thikn if I can change it ;) ...thanks

*EDIT* ...bye the way thatis good tutorial
