I did this last night, it's the irrlicht application of a concept that came to me during a psychedelic trip (I swear.) Nothing very complicated or big, but I can tell you, once you've played around with this program a bit, you will understand spirals better. You know, you'll *be* half-spiral yourself. er.. forget that, anywho, here's a small screenshot (if it works) :
There's also a fullscreen mode for the adventurous (check readme.txt)

- A compiled windows binary with everything you need to run it.

Ok, it isn't most beautiful code, but it's only one file and should compile fine on any system, provided you link it with irrlicht 1.4 correctly. I used Dev-c++ to make it.
Anywho, enjoy and don't over dose it !
and feel free to extend the code if you want, of course.
