Here are some of the test scenes lately. I'm still working on the animation, adding more movements. That's taking me a long time to do it as I'm not an animator.
Please note this is not a production version, this is only a test scene.

yup, that's just only for fun.
i was simply trying to put together the stuff i learned and it's just a lot of fun doing that.
so far, i found out my skills aren't there yet. i'm having a lot of problems sorting out skin weights in animation. man, that's another big problem i don't want to handle.
that means more practice sessions.
more practice sessions = more fun.
thanks for asking.
by the way, i'll look into smoothing groups, coz i really don't know how that works.

i'm curious about the tendrils on the wall... can you show me the wireframe of it? thanks.

it's just photo of a wall. it was not modeled. i had to set up the scene to follow the lights of the wall.Virion wrote:i'm curious about the tendrils on the wall... can you show me the wireframe of it? thanks.
it's an optical illusion.
...a magician's trick you simply fallen into.
i control the world, including the light. you simply believed what you saw.
gotcha!
Haha, good ol' Kim. She was the best i could find on TurboSquid for my pirate wench in my Alestorm game. She's STUPIDLY high poly though for what she is. Her eyes are like a gazillion polys each, they're incredibly high quality and really don't need to be. A lot of people who put models up on turbosquid are absolute n00bs
Plus of course it uses multiple textures, in fact one texture is merely for the eyes and is just 3 stripes of colour... mental!
But hey, it's free and you can of course make changes to it yourself to make it more usable in a game environment.... i think..
I did actually get confirmation of usage rights of free models from turbosquid as some models don't have any rights specified with the model and it turns out you can use them for anything so long as you protect them from being nicked by using some encryption or something.
