Post by 3DModelerMan »

Hi I was wondering what Tangents and Binormals are, does anyone here know how to export meshes from blender with them?.

tangent vector, is a vector ( or plane ) which is tangent to a surface/line at some particular point,, binormal, is the vector which is perpendicular to the level defined by the normal and tangent ( actually it is the crossproduct of two vectors ).
check these for more detailed info :

Irrlicht has a function you can call and it will be auto-magically created for you.

Now I understand what they are, thanks!!! :D . I always get a message in irredit when I try to apply a normal map, but I always just export a normal mesh to. I'll check blender.org for some more on creating them. :D
