best editor for B3D

Post by B@z »

Hello!
That's the best editor for B3D models ANIMATION?
I'm using milkshape at present, but it sucks in animation. (if you move a joint out of the animation mode, it makes your anim to like a poop)

I don't like 3ds max.. but it's just me xD (exporting my mesh from milkshape was good, but the same mesh from 3ds max, and the shadows went crazy.)
And i don't think 3ds max is for game modelling. But it's just me too :D

So what do yo think? Is there any better way for making b3d animation, or just this two? (what about blender? can it do it?/better that milkshape?)

thank you

if you don't like 3dsmax n milkshape you probably will turn crazy toying with blender.... i'm pretty sure. anyways there is a perfect b3d exporter for blender out there, search for it.

yeah i know, i am a blender user too. 3dsmax n milkshape are both quite easy to use compare to blender (you need some time to practice) if he said so much about those i reckon he will smash his comp while modeling with blender.

milkshape is easy for animating, but when i made an animation, and i realize that i have to move the mesh to an other point, then the full animation breaks down.
that i hate xD
3ds max is... killing the shadows xD

Well it's good to know that you're a blender user too, Irrlicht needs them.
By the way the exporter for b3d's for blender can be found on the blitz 3d site. If you'r doing level editing I think maplet might be able to.
