Wow very nice screens and video :)...it reminds me of star wars knight of the old republic.

What about some name for the game, a least some working title? But still very cool work. Mind to give some figures about textures used, polycount etc.?

Hybrid,

We are thinking in Anki Legend for game name, but not sure. In level showed in video we got about 30 b3d files (b3d cuz vertex color) and textures useds are :

Skydome : 1022 x 375
Ground : 1024x1024
All others textures: 512x512

For models we are using .x files with 512x512 texture.

Polycount we got about 38000 (wil be like 50000 at final guess)

Irr version is 1.4.1 (going to 1.4.2), for network using raknet (client/server model) and postgre database.

I wanna say people in this forum is turning the project possible to make.

Impressive. Most impressive. Visuals are great.

But is the framerate as low as it seems? Also, if you want the enemies to go down with three blows it feels a bit strange they are twice the mass of the character:)

HI Suliman,

Framerate is low in video to turn video small, in my card ( gforce 5200 128 mb) i got about 50-60 fps. Sure, we need adjust danage , hp and all others attributes.

Hey, that's impressive for the view distance, are you using any culling/lod optimizations? What about VBOs?

Hey BlindSide ,
what we doing is: The level is divided in 30 models and then some boundboxs stay out of camera and we care to char models to not exceed 2500 polys.
We dont discard to use some aditional culling if need. Some tip or example using VBOS (d3d) ? should be nice!
