So wait, are you people saying John Carmack and Romero, the creators of freakin' Wolf3D, Doom and Quake, help out with minor projects?? Or are you being sarcastic?
Would be cool to have The Romero or Mr. Carmack helping out (I sorta frequent John Romero's forum too.)
Oh, and thanks for straightening things out a bit here, rogerborg. Didn't know LTE was such a problem around here

Funny you mention Romero, I read about his bio/story starting from the beginning up to when they split up with Carmak.

Alright, I've talked with Carmack, he says he's really busy with Armadillo and the pace id is working at right now, so he can't help, and not to expect any miracles when it comes to Valve officially licensing the project, but he says if we can get it to a nearly completed state, they just might bless it with an official release on UMD.
If this does work out, the compensation would be a cut of the profits if Valve accepts it, or a share of the credit if they don't (they will most likely take it if it's done WELL)
