As Carbon on MacOS X is about to be deprecated in the next following years, is there any plan to port Irrlicht on Cocoa for MacOS X and iPhoneOS ?

There was a discussion about this a while ago, not sure what the result of the discussion was but should be able to find it by searching cocoa!

I was under the impression that Irrlicht already uses Cocoa on MacOSX?

Yes it does already use cocoa. There's one single carbon function left in there, can't remember what it does (no code here in work) but it's something to do with managing the app bar or window upon creation.
So yeah, if someone finds the Cocoa replacement for this function then the Carbon headers can be removed.
