Hehe, looks pretty nice, but we can't well offer suggestions based off of just 3 screenshots, now can we? ;)

Thanks for the compliments :D . I'm going to improve the graphics a little, because as you can see by the screenshots the sword needs a little work. And it might not be a bad Idea to have some per pixel lighting in there. I'm working on smoothing out the movement right now. After that comes the enemy characters.

Well I shifted to 2.5D and everything's working great now.
Beta test/demo version will be up as soon as I get the first level finished.

I've put in a really ugly looking background (gonna replace that and post another screenshot soon). The other character, named Pudgy.
Is coming along pretty good in blender. And now I just have to fix the movement system. I'll post a demo as soon as I get the jumping and gravity fixed.

Alright I replaced the background. The second playable character might have dissapeared to be replaced by a power up system.

I think you need to shift your audience to 7-year olds because 10-13 start to play Gears of War

Speak for yourself. There are quite a few parents out there who won't let their kids play mature games you know. Plus, it'd be a good game to take a break from mercilessly slaughtering hordes of innocent people.

I would play this just because it's so colorful and pleasant. I agree with Ducky; the deaths of millions in unending wars of grey palettes and disruptive eye straining pixels weigh heavily on my soul. Pingy gives me hope for a better world.

What kind of challenges will the player face in the quest to save the cakes and pies?

Challenges

Post by 3DModelerMan »

Pingy will have to fight off the Evil Pingys. Who look like Pingy except that they have red eyes and angry eyebrows. That boulder you might have seen at the end of the level so far is an obstacle that only Caveman Pingy can move. I'm still trying to fix the movement to time. I'll post new demos soon.
