[Help Wanted] Fighters Tactical Warfare

Post by cobra »

Hello. I need a texture artist that can texture aircraft for my simulator, Fighters Tactical Warfare. Currently, my texture artist will not reply to me, and I need aircraft textured much faster than the current rate.

What is the project?
I already made a topic for FightersTW, but now I need a texture artist.
Fighters Tactical Warfare is a Cold War/Modern flight simulator that focuses, obviously, on air combat. It is a free simulator with some shareware features available. Not yet released.

What position is needed?
I need a good texture artist that can or has textured aircraft before, and that can do textures that are similar or slightly less quality than these:

They don't have to be THAT quality, but somewhere close if possible.

What tools are needed?
A 3D editor like 3DS Max or Blender3D, high quality image editor like GIMP or Photoshop.

Is it a freelance job or paid position?
It is a freelance job, currently, since the simulator is free. The texture artist will get his name in the credits and also get mod capabilities on the FTW forum.

Thank you![/b]

It is a freelance job,
Your using the term freelance wrong. Im a freelance artist/ prototyper and freelance just means you have no ties to one company, you work as an independant worker that companies can outsource to.

Yes, I know. I'm a freelance programmer.

However, it says in the rules to say whether it is a freelance job or a paid job, so I just did what the rules said.

And basically it would mean that the texture artist is a freelance artist, because he is doing freelance work, not part of the team. And I would "outsource" to him to use his textures, which are of freelance work.
