Jirr on Linux

I know java very well (just finished a course at my high school), and very little c++ (although I'm trying 2 learn enough to make some basic games with Irrlicht).

When I first heard off irrlicht, it was when I did a search for a java3d engine and Jirr came up. Now my question, it came with a dll that the example programs used, where can I find the source for that dll to compile on linux, or find the linux version.

If I should post somewhere else, let me know.

I am in the same situation. the Jirr-dude (Stefan) has not yet replied on my emails. I have started looking into SWIG (which it seems he has been using).

Have nothing working yet.

If you figure out where the source is, would you let me know ?

For Bolzplatz 2006 ( http://www.bolzplatz2006.de ) we compiled Jirr also for Linux. Is was not really a problem. Just use the makefile from the jirr-dev CVS repository. If you have questions, just ask here.
