Can i ask you Suvi, what is the average connection that can run Gekkeiju server? That would set me nice aim for my server.
Before the upgrade to cable it used to run with a 8/1mb adsl which was more than enough to serve 46 players online at the same time. Probably could have handled more too but that's the max count there ever was online at the same time (that I know of).

Here's an update from me. Some custom terrain mesh and multi-texture shader. No grass yet.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. Meanwhile I added some more details to the level. I really like it now.

Wow eigen, that looks great!

Please can you do a non-shader version too? I want to be able to play it and my card doesn't support shaders :(

The shadows are little out of place? Also you need to work on that wood texture :P Other than that, nice work!

If you're talking about my render...

Shadows are from XEffects--> Hey Blindside! How do I fix this thing?

Wood texture, well I need to learn how to do it correctly in Photoshop though.

Yeah, I'm playing with Irrlicht again after quitting it several months ago. I'll be writing more code, err stealing is the right word for it.

Anyway, I may have to write a new wrapper for IrrEdit irr file and Bullet, so physics will be done during irr file loading. I'm using PhysX with the other Engine, so Bullet is going to be one for IrrEdit.

How much was it again to get the source code license of IrrEdit? I'm thinking of adding a feature or two in there.
