SpinShip: 3D Fast-Paced Shooter [UPDATED - 09/23/09]

Post by grumpymonkey »

SpinShip is a Fast-Paced 3D shooter with addicting gameplay, smooth animations, an easy to navigate menu, and an achivement system.

UPDATE - 09/23/09
I fixed the framerate dependence issue! now it works smoothly on any system! I also removed the command prompt in the beginning

Controls:
controls are simple: Move with W,A,S,D keys, and click to shoot.
Gameplay:
Killing the small red ships will give you 50 points, and killing the big green ones will give you 100 points each. Every enemy you kill will add to your multiplier, but if you dont kill something fast, then your multiplier will be reset to 0.

Very cool!

I have a hard time with my AZERTY keyboard and it's a bit strange you turn
'automatically' but It's really nice to see a complete game even if it is small one :P

Definitely keep up the good job!

thanks, glad you liked it.

the spinning makes the game harder, mouse aim would be too easy

Hey man liked the game was fun :) i got one trophy away from king then i died.

Critique: While playing i had sudden burst of speed i dont know if this was planned or not but it did give a somewhat unfair death to the game at times. May want to check your main ships update loop.

AHH vsync make all your animations/movement update on time rather then framerate that should even out everything.
