Hello everyone ! First, I introduce myself.
Mayto, french (so please excuse some eventual bad english, but do not hesitate to tell me if I'm mistaking ), 19 years old. I program in C++ for about 5 years ago now.
I started to learn Irrlicht during January if my memory's well, and I'm on an action / infiltration game project, as the subject said it.
So, Worlds is an act... well I don't need to say it again, with a particular graphic ambience.
To make it simple, you're an assassin working for a "Police of the Worlds" called the Order.
Yes, there is many worlds in... Worlds. So you're going from one world to another, completing your different missions, which are as various as assassination (really ?), protection, escort, spying...
Well, wathever, the gameplay purpose isn't the subject here.
Actually, the things done are :
- The player moves, and collide with the environment.
- It's possible to shoot, switch weapons, reload...
- It's possible to get close to walls (like in MGS, Splinter Cell)
- There's some minors ennemy (minor AI indeed)
- Menu (principal and ingame)
- HUD
- Particles (blood when you shoot at an enemy, or effects when you shoot at walls)
An alpha version shall get out shortly.
