Yea there are plenty out there but the one I like the most is Treemagik G3. It's commercial but produces quite nice trees with lod stages. Of course you may want to modify the trees after that to make them more complex.

1. Polycounts ~764.

"The Handoff"
Here's our entry for the month. As you can see, we've been working on our ships and have recently gotten in some of the Terrakin ship set. Also we've corrected some of our shader errors which has improved the lighting overall on ship hulls.
This is a colony ship being escorted to a larger fleet to be escorted back home.
(Scene load: 36,362 Tris., currently running at 30 FPS with AA)

Very nice screen shots again this month.
Why does your wall look like it is falling over Yoran? Someone call the health and safety board for those people! Other than that I like it.

i think the wall is because of the camera FOV
