avi or img-series ouput?

is it possible to make irrlicht not ouput to the monitor but instead into an avi or a series of picture-files (with constant fps)?
[of course that'll only work on noninteractive sequences]

if not would it be hard for one of the good programmers here to code this?

never used camstudio

at good resolutions fraps has a high impact on the framerate

is there a good, easy & free aniamtion program (equivalent to irrlicht)?

blender is a very good free modeler like 3d studio max in which you can create scenes and animate them, maybe you can use it if youre skilled enough:

blender might just be what i was looking for
