I have amended the date to the end of jan as this should give everyone a bit more breathing roomInsomniacp wrote:when is the deadline? May have extra time once I get my game demo in working order and it would fit well with this competition. Though if it is in a month or so then I am not sure how functional things will be and if I will be able to jump in.
shaders arn't an absolute anymore, if you create without and it looks good then you wont be rated any lower than someone that has, however all of the best effects involve shaders from my point of viewshadowslair wrote:Is the use of shaders a must, since nice graphics could be done without their help with some talant and imagination? I believe the most important thing is the nice idea, its realisation and the whole feeling of the "game", isn`t it?thespecial1 wrote: - must look graphically impressive, including the use of shaders
In demonology, Murmur is a Great Duke and Earl of Hell, and has thirty legions of demons under his command. He teaches Philosophy, and can oblige the souls of the deceased to appear before the conjurer to answer every desired question.stefbuet wrote:And what does "murmuur" mean ?
Murmur is depicted as a soldier riding a Vulture or a Griffin, and wearing a ducal crown. Two of his ministers go before him making the sound of trumpets. 'Murmur' in Latin means noise, whisper, murmur, and the sound of the trumpet. Some authors portray him simply as a vulture.
Other spelling: Murmus, Murmuur, Murmux.

One more question... Does it have to be a seamless loop? Or should it just replay itself when it's done?
That would be illogical captain...

Me and a few of my friends are actually already working on a horror game so I should be able to make an entry.
Just one question: will I be allowed to cut to different shots/points of view or does it all have to be in one shot?

I meant that I didn't know whether or not the Google 3D warehouse had stuff people could use that way.
