USA immigrant (i need a few info)

Hi all,
I know this is not the right forum to ask such a question but i am hoping there is some experts or knowledgeable people that may help me in the "Immigration to USA" type question on this forum.

Currently i live in Netherlands Antilles, Curacao and i want to come to USA to go to Game programming dedicated schools and or graphics school/colleges that offer Opengl.

But the problem is that i don't have a solid info on how the process of emigration goes and how to get a green-card and such legal rights to live in USA.

Well I suppose you could just run to the border, show them your hairy balls, and I'm sure they'll let you in
