Problem in editing posts: quote me for read this

Post by REDDemon »

I have problem editing messages on the forum (i can edit the main thread, but if i try to edit messages they vanish and becomes blank (have tried with very old messages).

I'm the only one or someone is suffering the same problem?
For example look at this page. I tried to answer but all messages are blank:

(if you quote me you can still read original message).

I tried to post messages elsewhere in the forum and seem that the only thread with problems is the thread of my project:

[url]http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/phpBB2/ ... 3&start=15[/url]

.. anyway i post here what i wrote in the topic so it can be read:

[quote](sorry for double post)

no sorry. I don't know why on 64 bit systems this appens. i tested it on a variety of 32 bit systems without problems.. Have you tried to recompile (Code::blocks only) before launch it?

I can think that possible issues are caused by OpenAL 32 or by SDL
You can also try to disable compiler optimization and enable all compiler
warnings. (right click.Build options). You need to install OpenAL(or try to use IrrSolid with irrKlang instead of cAudio)

I'm not familiar with 64 bit systems.

Edit:
This appen also with minimal release? (so I can exclude SDL and OpenGL.)

i found some error reports around the net also about OpenAL

[url]http://forums.lotro.com/showthread.php? ... n-of-Death[/url]
[url]http://forums.lotro.com/showthread.php? ... eath/page2[/url]

most of problems are caused by creative openAl drivers (that's also why in the step-by step guide i ask for install OpenAL and I have also added to source forge the official installer for software drivers: it is redistributable) especially on 64 bit systems.

i tried to search for SDL errors but hard to find them. most seem to be OpenAL specific.

There are only blue screen there or some is get it working also on 64 bit systems?

Are there errors on 32 bit systems?

Edited the first post. now 64 bit users are warned that IrrSolid is not working[/quote]

I just edited your post such that BBCode is disabled. Don't know which chars really made such a problem, but something in your post broke the parser. Which leads to nothing being shown. As it happens to all your posts I assume it's in the signature. Could be the URLs also, as they contain parantheses.
