must watch this!

edit:
Hey, are you playing any multiplayer games while not coding?

I am playing lot of Enemy Territory, even playing in clan with very high range.
~3-4 years ago I also played lot of Quake 2/3, and some Counter Strike 1.6.

Maybe we will make game server to play something together? :)
I am open all games.

Hello dear Irrlichters again!

As you saw (or not) I was offline for a longer time.
I have a lot work now with web developing, currently I got new job as PHP programmer and additionally I am working as freelancer, so I completely have no free time for anything :(

But that not means that I forgot about my favourite community :D

So I am still alive, thats all what I wanted to say :)

Luben, yes, it was a "little" offline on forum, but now I can stay here for longer :)

ChaiRuiPeng, I recommend you to try Linux more.
At first Linux may be little problematic, but after some time and gaining experience you will found how awesome this system is :D
Now I can't imagine my life without Linux. I am doing all my work stuff under Linux and using Linux tools. I only need Windows for using Photoshop, but I have installed VirtualBox and I can using PS without changing my main OS.
Here is screenshot how it is working:

VirutalBox is working in Seamless mode, where Windows desktop is hidden and only start menu and windows are displayed, in my screenshot you can see photoshop window in my Gnome environment.

PS: screenshot is so wide, because I have two monitors

So the best way is to do the same which I did years ago.
I installed Ubuntu on second partition, without removing Windows.
I was browsing Net through Ubuntu, watching movies, listening music, all day-to-day stuff.
On Windows I was only playing games (it was time when I was not working using computer).
After about 3-4 months I didn't even realized that I stopped using Windows completely :)
You can try this way.

About software it's no problem. On Linux there are lot of nice software for day to day use. I bet that all of your favourite software have their replacements on Linux.
The rest of software you can run under Wine/VM.

I know this will hard at beginning.
Every bigger change in life (such as changing OS :D) is hard, but with time you starting to see that you made good move and everything is now better than in past.

the software part should not be too hard. i already use a lot of apps that were made for open source like ubuntu.

like blender, gimp, code blocks, open office, firefox.

:) i think the last time i used a microsoft application was windows movie maker and i got so mad because it froze every time i tried to click the publish button. :P

Heh, Almost the same happened to me, though I still occasionally boot up windows, to play one game, but 90% of the time I'm using Ubuntu. It's just somehow different from windows and I like it. You have to try in order to know whether it suits you or not :)
Working on game: Marrbles (Currently stopped).

Protip: usually when they say "linux" they probably mean Linux console (bash).

Install linux on an old computer, learn how to ssh into it and apt-get software. Use apt-get to install DHCP, smb, media server, apache and gcc. It's pretty fun and it's more constructive then watching porn.

Then install a game server and invite your friends. Because it will be dedicated it will be handy too. Setting up a local webserver is also worth the time.

Then when you're meeting friends, teachers, lecturers and parents you can amaze them with your skills. SSH into your remote server via console, they'll be amazed with your top, less, touch, ps, grep, ls, cd, apt-get and so on. You'll earn a good reputation as being knowledgeable and it will make it easy to get a reference when applying for jobs.

my favorite thing to drink in the morning is cinnamon tea :)
whenever i drink coffee it had bad effects on me. it seems it does not take too much caffeine to make me very giddy.

it actually does help me get a lot of work done, but the headaches i get afterward are not worth it, so i just drink unsweetened cinnamon tea straight from the pot.

ChaiRuiPeng,
it's for 99% because you are taking too high dose of caffeine.
Same was with me, at first I was taking two teaspoons of coffee and after I also had same effects like you.
But I tried making a bit weaker coffee, from one teaspoon, and worked fine.
Try with smaller dose, it should help!

Now I drink coffee on normal dose (two teaspoons),
on days when I am working on projects I am making 1.5l of coffee and hacking all night :D
