God's Wrath

Post by tm17848 »

Hi!
We are a group of 5 people who have developed a videogame for their university - (La Salle).
It has been programming using irrlicht and the animations have been modeled with 3D Studio Max and animated using Motion Capture.

The whole project has been produced using Scrumm.

Here you have a sample video of the game.

I hope you like it!

Hehe! Sweet! But as its using Irrlicht, why it`s not in the "Project Announcements" section?

PS: Motion capture for such a game is a bit of overkill IMO

Wow, how did you get hold of all the equipment to do MoCap? That's a lot of expensive cameras and a large open space to get good quality
But as shadowslair said, might be overkill for this game, looks very trippy for the rest :D

The video was pretty laggy, perhaps you could record with a more powerful comp?

The cutscene after the credits was nice :)

Hi, You have a nice ladder mecanic there. The particles FX on the "meteors" are really nice. I'm happy to see that you achieved to create gameplay there.

Too bad you did not had artists on the project (modelers, animators). That could have added a lot on the quality side.

I did not see any evidence of "motion capture" there... Eveything is animated so slow. It look and feel really laggy.

How much time did you had to do this?
