Re: Milkshape 3D Joints
Joints are also known as bones, google for that or take a look:

Re: Milkshape 3D Joints
Err, if you want to apply physics then I don't think you want bones. I think you need to separate the wheels from the car. The "joints" you are referring to are not skinned-mesh joints, but physics joints. These are not the same thing. You should read the IrrODE forum thread and go to Brainsaw's site because he shows you how to set up a car. I'm not saying ODE is the best, but Brainsaw has provided the information to get you started.
Re: Milkshape 3D Joints
@moongoose7 i am using Irrbullet what you say about this ??

Re: Milkshape 3D Joints
People like Bullet. But I haven't seen an example setting up a car in Bullet. Maybe you can go to the site and scratch around. As I said, Brainsaw has provided instructions for ODE. It's your choice.

There is a example named 'VehicleDemo' included in the Bullet Physics download.mongoose7 wrote:People like Bullet. But I haven't seen an example setting up a car in Bullet. Maybe you can go to the site and scratch around. As I said, Brainsaw has provided instructions for ODE. It's your choice.
