error [11.1.6020]

Post by Testur »

My Max6 started behaving strangely a few days ago. When I start it up I get the authorization dialog with 'error [11.1.6020]' in it. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried to reistall three times, plus the c-dilla manager. Still get the error.

This error indicates corrupted C-Dilla/Safecast data (local license management). You need a re-authorization of your Autodesk product.
Can occur if your antivirus program was not disabled (as advised) during AutoCAD installation.

Contact autodesk with your license number.
Crud, how do I do this again?

Sounds like the ting from the autocad site. Been there, done that. Didn't work.

I can go through the authorisation without problem, but when I click in the 'finish' button, I come back to the authorisation dialog again with the same error.

Seeing as how much you paid for Max 6. You'd be better off contacting their support instead of asking on a forum.
