Hello,
I am part of a project to create a 6DoF game to replace the aging Descent series. Our first commit is back in mid-2009, and with a ~1.5-2 year break I'm back and my project is starting to smoothly roll forward. I currently have a teammate who's working on implementing netcode, which is a separate matter altogether.
Before I programmed anything, I did a lot of planning, and now I fear that since I'm slowly working away from what was on my plans I may be making spaghetti code, or something. The deviation from plans lies more with finding out how things interact than feature creep.
I was wondering if there was anyone(s) interested in going through my project (in part or whole) to make recommendations for restructuring, performance enhancing, etc. I can't offer anything more than your name in the credits, however. I want to make sure that my code isn't hideously wrong as this project is the only project of real size that I've worked on, and thus am not too familiar with any nuances with programming large projects.
If anyone knows of an outside service\person who would be willing to help with even a part of my request, that would be greatly appreciated.
Here's the code: http://odf.bzr.sourceforge.net/bzr/odf/syzygy/files It depends upon the newest Irrlicht, and newest irrBullet to compile.
Thank you!
