Texture [SOLVED]

Post by MynithiX »

Hi,
again and again I need help :D
I've got a map, and of course it should have a texture, which looks likes this (not finished, just testing :D ):
Image
But when I compile it and run it, it looks like this:
Image
It looks like Irrlicht use a mix of the colors in the texture, and show it as one color. But I want that the texture repeats...
I don't know why it doesn't works now, because it already works.
Thanks

Two things are infinite: the stupidity of the humans and universe. I'm just not sure if the universe is really infinite!

I have solved it, with this simple line:

Code: Select all

smgr->getMeshManipulator()->makePlanarTextureMapping(mesh->getMesh(0), 0.004f);
Two things are infinite: the stupidity of the humans and universe. I'm just not sure if the universe is really infinite!

Which simply means that your original mesh has no texture coords. That's probably a major error in your arts department. Better fix the mesh instead of applying an unspecific texture mapping.
