Maybe a little late, but nevertheless:

You'll have to post your own screenies, too. The best part - you'll always win. Really, there aren't enough contributors to make it worthwhile. There is a thread for posting screenies but is hasn't had much activity in the last three years.

while I find these competitions interesting I'm nowhere near a point where it'd be worthwhile posting screenshots, I screenshot various implementation tests but that's only for my own documentation.
For the ones I've been paying attention to "build a world" almost always won too, and very few other projects could compete.

Ohoo come on... don't be negative. How can you know that i will be the only who will post screen shoots? The screenshoots is the best way to promote irrlicht. And of course Build a World is the best game around using irrlicht, but i also remember ent1ty with a extremely nice grass that BW doesn't have, or the ArsaFramework.

We muss not abandon the thinks we were used to do. We have to make Irrlicht a best place. I can try to create poll post with the old screenshots of 2014. And a new open competition for this new year! And we have at least two competitors here, mongoose7, and aaammmsterdddam with his tests.

If the forum is active more user will be attracted.

Thanks!

I wasn't *complaining* that BW won all the competitions, I was in part responsible for that (as I vote for the most visually or technologically appealing screenshot), I don't think it's fair to ban anyone from participating in competitions :P

Although I could see how some people would be a tad dissuaded by seeing BW in the competitions (I'd still try to compete once I have some screens to show, it would be a lovely battle of voxel based games... one that'd I'd surely lose)

From a promotion POV BAW should be present each month.

Perhaps apply a formula that BAW votes get multiplied by 0.3? :P

Uh - I think yeah you can do that. I remember there was some problem with the image servers back then - I guess that's why they stopped.

@tank2012
I like the grass but the blur effect is maybe overuse.

Would be nice if there is some random weed or flower :).
The competition is back.
Lets start with the vote guys.

Cheers
