Parallel lines not parallel
If I choose the orthogonal projection, I see the vertical lines are vertical, but the horizontal lines do not look parallel to me.
Why is that so?

I think that's an optical illusion. Do measure it with some ruler on top of the screen (or copy-past it to Gimp or some tool like that and measure in there). The height of the yellow blocks is exactly the same on the left and on the right of your image.
