looking for good 3d world editor.

Hi, I'm new in 3d graphics and gamemaking.
I'm looking for good (and free or low-cost) 3d terrain editor. Not a generator. Sth like FreeWorld3d (wich is not free), but with a texture generator or that do something more than just streching one small image to really big terrain. Would be nice to get some links.

T2 is free for terrain texture generation and it allows you to scale each "layer" of the texture you're generating.

Also, Freeworld has similar features in it, I just like T2's interface better.

I use both to make terrains.

If you're looking for something for level editing for Irrlicht.... try out IrrSED. www.irrsed.tk It's "loading" is code-based.

personally, i love anim8or for all things. it also has a 3rd party terrain editor (2, but my favorite), teranim8or. teranim8or is a generator and a editor, but the texturing im not sure about how it works, im pretty new to it all myself.
