mmmh, it seems to be back! or perhaps it was a cache problem in my browser; sorry , and thnx for the participation.

@skater: it's a brilliant tool very easy to use; it's the best way to keep your cvs projects updated. There's a great tutorial on how to use it with Irrlicht NX here:
http://www.irrlichtnx.mmdevel.de/cvstut ... orial.html

I think it will clarify how it works and allow you to use it with any cvs project.

thnx guys!

Thankyou Afecelis. :)
Now I understand why I couldn't get tortous to work a while back.
That tut makes it quite simple.
If it exists in the real world, it can be created in 3d

Sys specs:
AMD 3700+ 64 processor
1.0 gb ram
e-Geforce 6600 graphics 256 mb onboard ram

No matter how much CVS is praised, I still prefer binaries...

I prefer source control.

At home, I use an asset management tool that has source control called AlienBrain. There is a free unlimited time trial that you can get. Go to their webpage and send in an email for an analysis copy. It's a Windows server + 5 Windows clients. They have a Linux client, but the last time I looked, no Linux server. A few of us have been putting in feedback of things to take out to make a more small team friendly version at a wallet friendly price.

At work, it's Rational ClearCase. Only huge companies with money out the wazoo use it.
Crud, how do I do this again?

Alienbrain is "da bomb"!

didn't know there's a free trial version. Great, since it's a bit expensive :D

it handles everything; a must for groups developing a game that need to report stuff to a central server. Very graphic as well.

love it

I'll try to reach for a copy
