Does anybody at all happen to remember a pc game from around 1995 called "Bad Day on the Midway"?
Its part of the inspiration for the the project I'm slowly working on (I'm doing a fps style maze, heavy on graphics and music)
It was a great concept, man. It took place on a carnival's midway, and you started the game as a little boy, "Timmy." There were about 8 or 9 people that you interacted with, and each time you confronted someone, you had the option to switch over and "become" that person, and you would carry on, running into the same people as before(including any characters you "used to" be), only now from a different perspective, and with a different goal.
Each character had there own set of goals, and what those goals are, is something you have to figure out as you're playing. Additionally, each character could have several possible "good" or "successful" endings, as well as several losing outcomes.
It was created and put out by an avante-garde band called "the residents." If you like music, you probably wouldn't like them much. If you dig artistic noise, then you'd apreciate them.
Anybody seen this or know of any other cool-concept games?
( just thnking about the residents made me want to add the avatar )

Anyways, as far as games go. You might like "Amber: Journey Beyond " and "The Dark Eye". You might also see if you can find "The Residents: Freak Show" but it is more of a marketing tool than a game.
