you forgot that thats only the compiler, you wont get an ide, so you have to work in the console. the compiler did i know long before

the toolkit's been out for a couple of months, going on a year now.. and don't worry, it ide was worth the money :0

if your a student, you should be able to contact the msdnaa or something and get it for like 15 bucks
