Ok, I just found this engine and it sounded real cool from the feature list. My first try was to load a MD2 model from polycount and a Quake3 map from planetquake and try to load it into Irrlicht.

Well, I failed on the Quake3 level.

Basicly, I think there are triangles missing, like every second or so. ;) Can Irrlicht really load Quake3 maps, or is it just a theoretical feature? Any solutions to my problem???

Ok, is there anyone trying to fix that bug currently? I dont really like recompiling all my Q3 maps cause i am lacking the compiler plus it would be really annoying.

Maybe Niko (the author of the engine) will fix the 'bug' I'm not sure. Better ask him and you'll get a much more exact answer
