Well I just found this and the download's at 22.% Been waiting for a few hours now. *hiccup* That's awesome someone finally made a free program like this, because anything I use has to be noob compatible ;D
<tt>Here's a llama, there's a llama, and another little llama. Fuzzy llamas, funny llamas, llama, llama, duck!<tt>
Sounds like dial-up. Mine used to be able to download 1 meg in about an hour or so. It always claimed a 45.2k/s connection, but would download at about 3k/s. I always was pleased whenever an unexpected fluke happened, such as starting the download at 10k/s, though it quickly corrected itself, and even compensated.
*rant off*
Anyway, whatever your connection, Irrlicht should be worth it. It'll end eventually.

A dial up modem works at 45kbits per second, not the assumed 45kb per second,
and the fluke occurs because the download timer hadn't started before data was recieved (or not long after it) so downloading 1bit before the timer started (0ms) means speed = (1/0) infinity! when actually it wasnt nothing like that
...gotta love dial up
Anyways hope you enjoy the irrlicht engine.
