yup....you get that book.....but rf's pro version is being discontinued.....and you can buy the book for like 15 bucks from another dude's website.........and most of the stuff in it is in the docs you get with the free version anyways......irrlicht has more tutorials showing how to code with it.....and some of you may know that there's very little( simkin scripting mostly) coding in rf....so one can't really compare programming irrlicht to rf, or even cipher.......but...the next version will require programming.....i'll have a good comparison between the two when "rf2"( new engine, same game editor, etc. but only available commercially) comes out......irrlicht needs someone to do a book on game making with it.....
o.O ? a suggestion: please make a headline which states what the hell you are talking about
what for a book? whats rf? what do want to tell us with your post? what doc do you mean anyways?!
ps: no, irrlicht needs no "book" about game programming! irrlicht is a 3d graphics engine and has an API documentation, thats all we need. irrlicht is no game authoring system nor does it need a gamemaking book, because of the following reasons:
1. irrlicht is no authoring system, as stated above
2. irrlicht is not gamemaking only
3. irrlicht has api documentation
4. "gamemaking" is a general topic thats always the same, it does not matter which engine you use
5. there are thousands of books and many tutorials on the net about gamemaking, so why another book about it?
i hope you could understand what i tried to say!
