Anyone here got any info on Genesis3d, or know anything about it... Ever messed with it??? etc etc

I tried it long time ago, but it's quite outdated thing now, and it's not realy free because to remove splash screen you have to pay 10.000$ or something. There are many much better engines now.

There are some branched parallel projects derived from the genesis source:

Reality Factory (pro):

and some others. Relity Factory launched a pro version that was around US$75 and brought a very good book; the problem is that graphics haven't evolved so much and it seems to get buggier in its attempt to update them. Even with a 3200 processor, an Nvidia 6800gt and 1 gig of ram the latest version ran damn slow.

and worst of all; bsps created with genesis tools (or derived engines) aren't Irrlicht compatible.
