I wold eventually LOVE to put my thoughts into action but for now its just not feasible!
anyway - Just wondering which engine would be best for an mmorpg, set mainly in large open spaces.
Also there would possibly be more items etc on screen at any point than a "standard" mmorpg- how would much would this effect speed (both engine and network-wise)
By the way - by "massive" the game idea I have is kind of scalable - ie it could be anywhere from a hundred up to thousands of people and the idea would still work pretty much the same (although it would be preferrable to be larger..of course
