I think i have found a limit to the engine, or is it just for ms3d models, but when i try to load a ms3d file with 43456 triangles, and 22158 verticies, i get an error in Irrlicht saying the maximum verticies = 65535. Is this an engine maximum, or is it just for ms3d models

In fact it is a ~bug~ in the .ms3d loader. Until it is fixed, this is a limit, yes. I didn't know that it is that low. Sorry for that.

no problem, just stress testing then engine. :-D

[edit] i found the following on the milkshape homepage

max. vertex count has been increased to 65534.
max. triangle count has been increased to 65534.
max. group count has been increased to 255.

I think this explains this
