When is somebody gonna release something other then screenshots?

it's been like 2 years or something since Irrlicht was first created and still nobody has released a damn thing that's fully functional.

Penguin the treasure hunter?? come on!!

Not that it was bad or anything but hardly an adult type of game and with only a few levels worthless for more then 10-20 minutes.

I'm sorry but all you LOSERS working on tetris clones and doom clones need to redirect your efforts into something worth a poop.

Guess it's gonna have to be me it's always fricken me.. even the scene editors that were made are useless outputting to formats worthless to anyone but the creator apparently.

I check the projects forum everyday now for almost a year and I still haven't seen anything worth wasting a kb of space to talk about.

get it in gear people or find a new hobby.

I saw that blaze is now going down the shitter... I have waited so long and now this.. god I hate my life 3000 programmers and what do you get a single GUI editor that's unfinished due to major bugs in the engine.

I'm not trying to hurt anyone's feelings but wtf man lets see some results I'm working my rear off to produce and it seems all of you are just weekend programmers that only reveal your source when you need help and horde the games to yourselves when they're finished.

I have to agree with you at some point, but please don't be an smartypants and don't use offensive language at people.You're not the brightest mind amongs Irrlicht users.What major bugs in the engine you are talking about ?

I never said I was the brightest.. sounds like a personal attack to me.

I wasn't aware I was using offensive language could you please point out the offensive part? you mean the word poop? you know even basic cable allows the word poop now right? go clean the sand out of your vagina. hehe

Not so much bugs as it is missing or incomplete functions.. at any rate this was focused on the lack of production by the community not a personal attack on the engine which I happen to love.

my standards? I don't expect anyone to do anything.. it's quiet obvious nobody is doing much at all besides remaking games that have all but faded out of existence and for good reason. I seem to remember a guest mentioning something about my old looking avatar on this forum would you be that person?

You have no idea what I am doing. And you have no idea why. Remaking an old game is a great thing to do if you are trying to learn and most people here are only just beginning with game programming. So quit being such a flaming fucktard and leave people to their business.

Ok lets be serious for a minute honestly a remake of doom wouldn't be so bad I think maybe you lack creative ability more so then you "love" doom but you're right I can't know for sure what people are up to.

But that's not going to stop me from doing whatever I want here or anywhere else and what I want is to motivate people into creating SOMETHING ANYTHING I don't care if it is tetris I wouldn't play it but really I just want to see more activity on these boards.

What I find funny is that instead of making a valid point everyone just wants to bash me because I'm a bit extream when it comes to making a point but anyone with a sense of humor should be able to determine I mean no harm and this is supposed to be in good fun.

Now you might ask yourself why would I continue once I notice people taking it the wrong way? well the answer is simple this is for MY amusment and those that know how to interperate CONTEXT it's not my concern how people view me my believes or my sense of humor only that I make myself laugh.

i have made an fps shooter frame work wich is being used by dawsaw for his doom project

i have also made a shader library for iirlicht

which has night vision
toon shading
fake bumpmapping
3 types of water shader

bitplane done a cloud scenenode

the scene editor that u moan about(lantis one is very good and has ablity to save and inmport )

all the people that have worked hard on the map loaders

nuclear spark (check the game out it is a complete one)

a very polished rts glactic dream by pretender

look at all the new scenen ode in the wiki by emil halim

dungeon tech area 51

adztec independent drilkl of the pill(im working on that team we done the ai doors sounds config manager and gui)but we like t keep things secret

and last but not least guice

there is a really good particle editor that exports done by the guy thta done the sprite class

sorry i forgot so many other projects

and thanks to your thrad i hva e thought of a very useful project wich i will start work on called

open CT

it uses 2d ct scan images of the human body to craete 3d version of the body but from the inside cruntly there are commecial ones wich are exensive and need special hard ware this one would be free

i u want to join u can

may be this would be the first irrlicht program that helps humanity

Back on track yeah great replies guys there are alot of tools that can be useful and even a few complete games but when is the last time anything was released? I mean honestly I'm bored as hell here.

I understand games take awhile to create oh buddy do I.

But this brings us back to the idea that alot of you need to learn how to be team players and some of you need to realise that not everyone is creative and use what you ARE good at to help others with there projects.

I'm talking about getting more orginized and banding together to produce MY projects and some of yours if we have time.

So who wants to join my club?
