My Darkness (cheesy alert)

Post by Midnight »

The Darkness
------------------
original work created by Midnight

The Darkness, so cold and yet comforting to the senses when strong of will.
The Darkness, with hopeful eyes wishing for the light to embrace me.
The Darkness, is love and hate, sickness and health, we all look alike.
The Darkness, consuming my wishes and holding me back from the nothing.

Live in the Darkness and your pain is less then before...
Binary Existenze╪ for which our kind has desire to consume in exploration

Come with me and join my freedom among darkness and yee shalt have the power to create where things not exist.

Created for the Irrlicht community
as a small taste of creativity and hatred of boredom

it's been awhile since I wrote anything and I had a small craving for an old passion. what do you think? (preferably a carefully worded responce please)

Nice, although I'm not used to read stuff like that in a language other than my native one. :) However, if you google for 'Irrlicht lyrics', you'll find a lot of depressing texts like that, altough all in german.

deep, armonic, dark..... I like it! reminds me of The Cure and "Les fleurs du mal".
I guess you must have read "the cursed poets" a lot, huh?

I don't read a lot of poetry.

I just write it. 8)

It's not really supposed to be depressing even though it's a source of inspiration.

It reads to me like some very patched up and dull phrases.
Not depressing, not inspiring.
It doesn't really catch.

lol....
Well , to be honest, i don't like it....Sounds a bit lame like those old robot/fantasy movies from the 80's made for unmature audience.
But that's just my opinion.

When I said it's a source of inspiration I meant depression not my poem.

dumb ass.. and if it doesn't "catch" whatever the gently caress that's supposed to mean then its you not the text.. emotions are a human thing not a literature thing.

Ya know the fact that you liked this is really enough for me.

I don't expect all these light side fools to even come close to understanding this in fact I'm not surprised they try to burn it down for more reasons then there hatred towards me because I show them how worthless they are.

It bothers me a bit that you feel I took this from somewhere else.. the only time in my life I've created something that wasn't perfectly original was my most advanced work to date which is Guice.

Creativity in my mind is anything that's remotely entertaining coming from one individual without little to no outside influence which is something a lot of us hold unique.

Regardless how people feel about me I have never directly attacked anyone that didn't deserve it and a lot of you act like children probably because you are and there is no way for me to judge how you will respond to my responses.

just know one thing people... anything you can do I can do better.

BTW I wrote this poem when I was totally smashed out of my mind so that speaks for the quality of it's existence I'm afraid.

good try at hurting my feelings though guys or should i say "girls" but you can't break what doesn't exist.

Well, I won't even get into my opinion, but really, Midnight, you gotta expect some criticism you won't agree with when you submit anything unsolicited.

Hell's Bells, man, when you include in the post's title "(cheesy alert)" you are really asking for a little ribbing. I mean, you're telling us before we even have a chance to read it that it is...well...cheesy.
How can you expect anyone to take it seriously at that point?
BTW I wrote this poem when I was totally smashed out of my mind so that speaks for the quality of it's existence I'm afraid.
ah...yes...that would explain it.
That was actually my second guess.
My first guess was that you plagarized it from a 14 year old goth chick who was just dumped out of her 1 month long relationship ("...but it was true love! I'm safe in my darkness now...")

LOL, Midnight strikes again.

This forum needs an ignore feature, or does it have one and I'm missing it?

Have to add this one too, can't help it! You're calling people geeks....and yet, you get drunk and write poetry!! :P
