Tutorial Project

Post by Phyxx »

I've started a tutorial project which aims to demonstrate the features of several engines using a consistant programming style. Hopefully people will find it useful for learning different engines without having to wade through a bunch of different tutorials.

The current realease shows off some of the more basic aspects of 4 engines: Ogre, Crystal Space, Nebula 2 and Irrlicht. you can download it from here.

If people find this useful I'll expand the tutorials to cover more aspects of the engines, and maybe include more engines as well.

Why did you choose a Microsoft Installer? :( Sorry, I use Linux... To WINE! :D

Edit: Ok, I just emulated the installer and looked at your tutorials. Good job! :)

WINE=WINE Is Not an Emulator
You do a lot of programming? Really? I try to get some in, but the debugging keeps me pretty busy.

I've uploaded a zip file for Linux users. The projects are Visual Studio only at this point, but you can still view the source.

Then why as Electron said does it stand for Wine Is Not an Emulator?

Good idea, Phyxx, but it should be better for my point of view to add the compiled binaries. We would not have to install the engines to have an point of view about them (but of course the size of the zip file would be bigger).
