Or you could use Code::Blocks with some compiler thats free ( there's a lot of them )

True.. imagine.. "Hey I got C++ for xmas"...

lol, it is a language you can not quantify it as a physical entity or even a piece of software. A C++ Compiler/IDE on the other hand is what you want. And if you expect to learn C++ I suggest you read read and read some more before starting. It is not a trivial matter.

Some have learned from playing around with irrlicht, but what they use is *not* C++ (which takes years to learn fully),but more like C style hacking

That was my post above this one. I just realised, I think this MEGAN and her BF are trolls (prob the same person) and are posting dumb stuff all over the board to make it look like it is full idiotic kids.

Apart from the totally bs "I want to build a 7 continent world - teach me or send me it" post, the writing is inane and immature... as I said one in the same poster. If any guy who wrote like this had a GF, she would NOT post here. If she was into game programming, she would portray herself as older than 14 years.
