Problems with textures!

Problems with textures!

Hello Everyone!

I've just discovered Irrlicht, and I think it's great, but I have one question;
I've created a model in Anim8or (including a sequence and some bones)
and now I've exorted it to .3ds. But when I load it with Irrlicht. There are no textures! Maybe I'm just stupid but what shall I do to get the textures included in the 3DS file? do I have to write a special line?
maybe I can handle, I know I can always load my own .bmp files for textures, but there's the other problem, The texture comes at wrong places. I've modelled a pinguin and made some textures for it (using the sydney as my inspiration source (I don't know what the swedish word "mall" is in english). But the texture just becomes odd. The texture is both at his arm and at his foot and so on! Can someone (maybe) please write a short howto, either on how to make the anim8or exporting to 3ds and then load it into Irrlicht, or on howto create your own textures ith bmps?

You have to place your textures in same folder with the model, I think.
